KFR Samson

Meet our fold sire KFR Samson.  Our first calf born here on Keller Ranch and has been the favorite from the start.  He weighed 69lbs at birth and in Denver for his first national show at 11 months old he weighed 814lbs.  His first time showing he won the cow/calf pair in Nebraska at the Cornhusker State Highland Classic.  A few months later in Denver as the youngest bull in his class he won that and the entire junior bull calf division.  A fantastic start to this young bull’s show career and what we expect his future calves can bring.  His genetics bring all the breed characteristics and are exactly what we are looking for in a fold sire.  His dad was the 2023 NWSS champion bull STR Encore, out of STR Ruthless Game and STR Enchanted.  Multiple national champions on his sire side and the dam is Bennachie’s Hazel.  Cow/calf champ at the Cornhusker Classic she brings good feet and legs with a traditional look. A unique and rare Canadian lineage on her sire side and Cobblestone and Run-A-Muk on the dam side.  Expecting to see the first crop of his calves in early 2026.
